Upholstered in 100% pure virgin wool, this modular chair and footstool set features a vibrant burnt orange surface that is hand-brushed for a tactile, almost creature-like texture. Beneath its plush exterior, a wooden frame and foam padding provide structural support and comfort.
Commissioned by Spazio Leone Gallery for the show “all in each”, the piece reflects an ongoing interest in perception and materiality. Inspired by the poetic complexities of R.D. Laing’s Knots, the chair and footstool shift fluidly between object and artwork—inviting use while simultaneously asserting a strong spatial presence.
